Welcome to our Hicks & Brown collection. Sisters Alice and Rosie were born and raised on their family farm in Suffolk. They didn't know it then but their home would, in 2014 become the subject from which the Hicks & Brown brand name derived. Alice and Rosie are thoughtful and inventive in their approach, to ensure the highest quality and level of performance from their products, whether they are destined to be worn on the streets of London or amidst the shooting field. Hicks & Brown offer a true lifestyle collection of clothing and accessories, designed to be timeless and built to last a lifetime.

Hicks & Brown at Allcocks

As Hicks & Brown stockists in the West Midlands, and with Cheltenham racecourse at our fingertips, we find many of our customers throughout the year are looking for racing attire. A product that has high demand for the races are the Hicks & Brown Fedora hats, a wool felt hat traditionally with a feather combination around the band of the hat, or collection of feathers attached with the Hicks & Brown logo onto the side of the hat. The Fedora’s hats are easily paired with your favourite tweed jacket, skirt and boots.

We have an extensive range of the Hicks & Brown hats here at Allocks. Our collection expands each year as Hicks & Brown release new colours, styles and feather combinations. A best-seller this year for Allcocks has been the Hicks & Brown Fedora with Guinea Fowl and Pheasant feather hat. A beautiful combination of browns and beiges, with a Guinea Fowl feather twist. Colours that perfectly coincide with our collection of clothing and footwear to create your country attire.

A new addition to the Allcocks Country Hicks & Brown collection is the men’s Holkham Panama hat. A handcrafted summer weight hat with a signature Hicks & Brown antique brass detail set on a navy ribbon edged with red around the hat, finished with a leather headband inside. This Summer weight hat is perfect for keeping the sun off your head on a warm day, with a colourful ribbon edge to brighten up your outfit. Brand new for our Spring/Summer collection we have high hopes for this new addition.

About Hicks & Brown

Sisters Alice and Rosie, who were born and raised on their family farm in Suffolk, in 2014 they founded the brand name Hicks & Brown with plans of starting their own business. Alice and Rosie parted with the family farm to pursue careers in London, but kept their connection to their original roots in the countryside. Through their love of the countryside, and the equestrian sports from here they decided to establish a fashion label of their own. With experience from London in hand, the sisters were able to return home to Suffolk and create the company Hicks & Brown.

With a passion for British design and craftsmanship, Hicks & Brown is designed and created here in England and is now a multi-channel company with a number of independent stockists. They tour the country throughout the year, visiting international equestrian events, shows and Christmas fairs.

Hicks & Brown is regularly seen within celebrities attire, most recently we spotted I’m a Celebrity winner Georgia Toffolo wearing a Hicks & Brown hat at Cheltenham races. Here at Allcocks, we love Georgia Toffolo’s style as she is regularly seen wearing a number of different brands we stock.

Hicks & Brown clothing and accessories

Hicks & Brown are best known for their Fedora hats, but they have also created a successful line of accessories including belts, clutch bags, socks, hat pins and the popular Hicks & Brown coats. The Hicks & Brown coat collection includes wax and quilted jackets, made here in England. The quilted jacket, also known as The Newmarket Luxe, is a dry wax quilted jacket with natural fur trim on the hood. Hicks & Brown have chosen to line this jacket with Clo-i insulation technology making the jacket breathable but also provides thermal warmth. The outer dry wax fabric is shower proof, making it stylish and practical offering protection from the elements.

The Hicks & Brown belts are made from a printed cowhide and 100% orange leather, teamed with a solid brass buckle. The orange leather is for the backing of the belt adding some colour to an elegant belt. The cow hide is available in different prints, making it the perfect accessory to a pair of jeans for an effortless stylish look day or night.

The Hicks & Brown clutch bags are similar to the Hicks & Brown belts, as they are made in England from Italian cowhide, but with a tassel attached to the bag with the classic Hicks & Brown logo badge. The clutch bags make a great statement piece to any outfit, and coincide beautifully with the Hicks & Brown belts. They also make a lovely gift for a friend or loved one.

With their love of the countryside influencing all their products, Hicks & Brown have released a small collection of feather pins. These feather pins are a perfect addition to jazz up a hat, they can even be worn as a brooch to bring your favourite jacket back to life with this stylish addition. These feather pins are available in different types of feathers, with bright colours to give your outfit a colourful addition.
