The lightweight density sole provides sure-footed traction and supreme comfort all day long. Lined in their signature poly-cotton jersey which helps to wick moisture away from the feet keeping them dry. The high levels of breathability make these wellington boots perfect for warmer months, and transitions well into colder weather. The Iris is a distinctive Le Chameau rubber boot with a colourful twist inspired by nature.

The Iris is the lightest wellington boot in the Le Chameau rubber boot collection. Perfect for wearing for longer periods of time, the single-density lightweight sole makes this a comfortable style for country walks and gardening.

Le Chameau's supple signature Chamolux rubber is used to make this wellington boot 100% waterproof. Whilst being comfortable, this material is also durable and long-lasting, meaning these boots will become your go-to shoe season after season. The poly-cotton jersey lining is not only breathable but is resistant to wear. This fabric means that they are suitable for year-round use, with Spring, Summer, and Autumn being the optimum time to wear the Iris.

Size Guide:

Le Chameau boots are designed and made to fit you in your standard shoe size, with room for your trousers/jeans and a thick pair of socks already factored into the manufacturing process by their Master Bootmaker. When selecting which size to order, a good general rule with Le Chameau boots is to go for the same size as your normal everyday shoe size.

Care Instructions

To ensure your Le Chameau rubber boots stay in good condition it's important that they are regularly cleaned with water and allowed to dry naturally.

Occasionally you might notice a white powdery "Bloom" on the boots. This is perfectly normal and is insoluble particles that have risen to the surface, which is largely due to the characteristic of a premium product made from high-grade rubber and will not compromise the durability or performance of the boots.

You should:

  • Clean your boots with nothing more than water and a brush.
  • Let the boots air dry.
  • Use a silicone spray and polish using a soft, dry cloth.
  • Keep your boots in a dry and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and away from any heat source.
  • If the boots get wet, please dry the lining thoroughly before using them again. Crumpled newspaper will help.
  • If storing your boots for a long period, clean them thoroughly and store away from direct sunlight in a dry, cool place.

You shouldn't:

  • Never dry your boots in direct contact with a heat source like a radiator or a fireplace.
  • Do not use aggressive products, like detergents, to clean your boots.
  • Never store your boots in a damp condition or folded.

Warranty

All Le Chameau rubber boots are guaranteed for 2 years against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, unsuitable use of the product, damage from foreign bodies or fluids, wear and tear, deterioration of colours and materials over time and after prolonged use.
